You can register people directly into your event with their email addresses or with a CSV file.
Importing attendees will bypass any gatekeepers you’ve set up like payment barriers, a password, Patreon tier requirements, or attendance limits. Others who go through the standard registration process through the event URL will still encounter these gatekeepers.
You can register (or import) attendees from the Options menu within your event. Select Register Emails.
There are two methods available for importing registrants into your event:
1. Manual Entry
Manually import your attendees by typing their emails separated by commas. Check the box confirming that those imported have agreed to register for your event, then select Import.
2. Import from CSV
You can easily register folks from your mailing list or external systems by uploading a CSV file of emails into your Crowdcast event. You just need a column titled email. You also have the option to include columns titled firstname and lastname (without spacing) if you want to send more personalized confirmation emails. Check the box confirming that those imported have agreed to register for your event, then select Import.
Once imported, the number of emails that have been imported with accounts and without accounts will be shown.
Attendees with a pre-existing Crowdcast account will automatically be registered and sent a confirmation email. Attendees without a pre-existing Crowdcast account will be sent an email inviting them to complete registration. This allows them to confirm that they do wish to be registered for your event and have a free attendee account created for them. They will need to click Complete Registration in order to join the event.
