What to Expect
This new streaming engine is anticipated to improve the audio and visual quality of your events. We’re expecting fewer instances of buffering, audio disruptions, or visual glitches, resulting in a smoother and more engaging experience overall.
How to Test
If you're eager to explore this new stage experience yourself, simply switch it on in your channel settings.
Important Considerations
When you switch on the upgraded stage, all in-event features will remain the same.
Because this engine is based on new technology, you will need to re-upload any Slides & Docs files previously saved in your Studio templates.
The new streaming engine does not yet allow for screensharing with audio. We’re working on setting that up, but in the meantime, you would need to use the Studio if you have anything to share with audio.
In addition, it is not possible to join the stage from the iOS app if using the new stage experience.
We're excited about the potential of this new engine and are in the process of conducting thorough testing. Should you opt to explore this engine's capabilities at this early stage, please be aware that it's still in the evaluation phase.
