Most hosts, guest speakers, and attendees can use Crowdcast without any problems. However, if you're joining from an organization with strict network security controls, there may be firewall blockers that prevent you from going live, joining the stage as a presenter, or watching as an attendee.
Ask your IT department to allow access to the following domains and their subdomains:
*.crowdcast.io
*.livekit.cloud
*.crowdcats.us
.backblazeb2.com
By enabling these domains, your speakers and attendees should be able to access the event without issues.
For Hosts only, if your IT department needs more information on the exact requirements our third-party streaming platform utilizes check out their Configuring Firewalls support documentation.
Additionally, if you are the host you may need to ask the network administrator in your organization to configure these firewall settings:
Minimum Requirement: The minimum requirement is that TCP port 443 is open. Some firewall/proxy rules only allow for SSL traffic over port 443.
Best Experience: For the best possible experience, we recommend that UDP ports 20000-65000 be open.
