The ability to blur your background isn't a built in feature yet, but you can still easily achieve this by virtualizing your webcam.
Virtualizing your webcam is a simple process that can be done with just a few steps.
Install a virtual webcam tool: The first step to virtualize your webcam is to download your preferred tool. There are several options available for free or for purchase, including ManyCam, OBS, or YouCam. Simply choose the software that best fits your needs and download it onto your computer. Different tools are available for different needs. For example, ManyCam, OBS, and vMix are great for sharing pre-recorded content and media. Other apps like mmhmm, YouCam, and LogiCapture are designed to alter your video stream with graphics, effects, and backgrounds.
Configure your virtual webcam: After downloading, open the tool you’ve downloaded and configure it to use the background, graphics, or media you wish to display while streaming.
Select the virtual webcam as your camera choice within Crowdcast: When you’re getting ready to go live, you’ll setup your camera and mic inputs from the AV controls in Crowdcast. Select the virtual webcam software as the source for your webcam.
Test your setup: You can test your virtual webcam setup in the greenroom of your Crowdcast event.
